Travel Agent & Reseller Commission Schedule
Commission Schedule:
Please see the table below for rates and commissions on our trips. Note that
the commissions are earned off of the “Base Rate” of each trip. All of
our trips include airfare between Puerto Montt and Chaiten (or transport
between Esquel and Bariloche, Argentina to Futaleufu) that we can not give
a commission on. To find the base rate of each trip, upon which commissions
are based, deduct $200 from each trip price. These rates and commissions
are subject to change at any time.

Preferred Travel Agents
Expediciones Chile extends special rates to preferred travel agents who we have worked with over the years. If you feel that you or your agency can deliver a large number of clients during a given season you may call our office and ask about our preferred rates. We keep a list of preferred travel agents that we inform about special offers during the season by e-mail. The above rates are good for the 2005/2006 season only. We will try to keep these rates steady but they can/will vary with the state of the economy, travel industry and the price of the US dollar and Chilean Peso. These rates are subject to change at any time.
Reseller Arrangements
Expediciones Chile also works with companies that want to use the Expediciones Chile infrastructure, equipment and guides, but preserve their own company branding. We welcome such arrangements and we are willing to work with each reseller on a case by case basis to establish a formal working relationship. Resellers will also have permission to use Expediciones Chile copyrighted material and images for advertising and promotional purposes. Please call our office to enquire about forming such a reseller partnership.

Client Sign-up Procedure
Due to our remote location in Chile, mail is often the least efficient method of communication. We require that all of our clients sign-up using our interactive web pages. As a travel agent you can either fill-out the forms (Application, Medical History, Liability Waiver) for your clients on line, while talking to them over the phone, or have your clients directly fill them out by sending them the following URL: www.exchile.com/application.html (If necessary these forms can be printed out and faxed to our office.)

Expediciones Chile Travel Agent Discounts
If you are a travel agent and are looking to book clients on our trips or want to take a closer look at our operation please contact our office. Depending on what you have in mind our trips can be discounted from 10% up to 100%. We also offer an Expediciones Chile travel agent discount special of 10% for travel agents looking for a vacation destination for themselves, family members or associates.
