Learn Digital Photography
The
photos on this page were taken by alumni of our
University of Futaleufú digital photography
safari. These were the winning photos of the 2002
digital photography class. Our class room is the
Futaleufú valley, the best kept secret
of PatagoniaChile.
Nature, culture, and adventure combine for a digital
photography smorgasbord.
Participants in our digital photography class
stay at the Centro Aventura Lodge in the little
town of Futaleufú. What could be more
fun than combining your favorite hobby with
international travel. Each day we emphasize
a different photography subject: rivers, lakes,
mountains, adventure sport, farm culture,
and people. We travel by hiking, horse, raft
and our Safari Bus. In the process of learning
the art of digital photography you are experiencing
a unique area of our planet.
Each evening we review
the photos on our digital projector and discuss
the theme, composition, lighting and velocity.
You will learn how to use photoshop and iphoto
to modify, store and process digital photos
into digital slide shows. We learn in small
groups with bilingual graphic design professionals.
Bring your digital camera, memory, and Ray
o Vac rechargeable batteries. If you have
a lap top bring it. We have an 802.11b network.
