Brief Route Description:
Travel to Chile's bustling capital city of Santiago. From here it's an easy transfer of flights to Punta Arenas. Upon arrival in Punta Arenas, it's a quick taxi to one's hotel of choice. Enjoy a meal and all the comforts of civilization on the first night in Chile before heading out to Torres del Paine the following morning.

Important Arrival Information:
One and a half hours are required between international and national flights in Chile. This is the easiest and quickest route for travel to Torres del Paine National park from Punta Arenas. Plan on spending a night in Punta Arenas before the trip pick up the next morning. It is possible to fly in the day of your trip if arriving at the airport in Punta Arenas before 11:00 a.m. on Mondays. This is hard to do if flying internationally the night before.

Important Departure Information:
When departing through Chile one will be traveling the inverse of the arrival schedule without spending the night in Punta Arenas. The return portion of the flight from Puenta Arenas must be at least one and a half hours before the international connection, though we recommend scheduling more time to allow for unexpected delays.

Important New Updates:
*** All international travelers are charged a reciprocal visa fee upon entry into Santiago Chile International Airport. US Residents: $131 USD, Canadian Residents: $159 USD, Australian Residents: $60 USD.
